On site health services such as blood pressure screenings, diabetes information, and proper ways to manage your teeth was sponsored by The Southern Baptist North American Mission Board and Mississippi Department of Health.
“We saw 90 folks come through the door, treated 40 and had to refer about 40 back for today or tomorrow,” Belcher said.
The main focus was the dental service provided and the onsite staff was well prepared.
“It has a complete dental sweep for two dentists to do their work,” Belcher said.
Tomorrow will be the last day the services are offered, and organizers are asking for people to take advantage of the services while they last.
“Come early, we hate to have to turn someone away. We’re limited on time and we just want to see as much folks as possible, ”Belcher said.
