New Ward 5 Civil Service Commissioner In Meridian


In Meridian,at Tuesday’s city council meeting the city council voted to confirm the Mayor’s appointment to the civil service commission.


Tyeasha Lindsey was appointed to serve as Ward 5 Civil Service Commissioner

Lindsey told Twin States she was looking forward to serving in her new role

Sharing, that she had been looking for a position that would allow her with more involvement in the community of Meridian.



“I am so excited about being in this new position as Ward 5 city service civil service commissioner. It is a great opportunity to be a servant to my community and as soon as I heard that this position was available I was able to send in my resume and they appointed me tonight and I am so excited for being a servant to our community and doing whatever I can in a fair way”, said Tyeasha Lindsey, newly appointed Ward 5 Civil Service Commissioner.


Lindsey is replacing Alan Willis as Ward 5 Civil Service Commissioner, whose term ended last month.
