MS Power partners with the community during a special project for the less fortunate

Good Samaritans gathered at Mississippi Power on Highway four-twelve  in Meridian to do a good deed.

Sleeping in Heavenly Peace, Leadership Lauderdale, and Mississippi Power employees built 40 beds that will be delivered to kids in need, so they have a comfortable place to sleep.

“They can sleep better and hopefully get a good night’s rest. Hopefully they’ll do better in school, and we just think it’s a good thing,” said Miles Hester, Sleep In Heavenly Peace Co-President Sleep.

“We had employee groups all over the state going out and helping to make the communities better places to live,” said Anthony Wilson, MS Power President & CEO.

Beds were delivered this afternoon throughout the community.
