The Chickasawhay River in Enterprise is expected to crest at 32 feet tomorrow.
Shubuta Creek will crest on Sunday.
Drivers Twin States News spoke to are heeding the turnaround don’t drown.
“If you see its water there, do not go across. They got barriers up for a reason. You just need to stop and turn around. Don’t think just because of somebody else’s vehicle may be able to go through but yours wasn’t. You just need to be careful and start out on time,” said Tonia Jones, Clarke County resident.
County Roads 1-20, 3-20, 3-75, 3-54, and 6-94 are only open to residents.
