Today in Meridian meeting of the minds on how to build character and leadership opportunities for the community.
Dozens turned to The Envision Center.It opened last October to provide low-income families with job and educational opportunities.
“We’re actually continually seeking opportunities that will be beneficial for this community. In doing that, it’s not a one-dimensional approach, “said Dr. Amanda Cook.
“We just have to try and get the community involved in this center with our residents,” said Brenda Griffin.
There were several partners ranging from Mississippi State University, and local law enforcement from Meridian and Lauderdale County.
