Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian held a blood drive today.
Dozens rolled up their sleeves to help save lives.
"It’s always people needing blood and people don’t always think about that when they’re asked to give. It’s not only adults that need it but it’s children that need it, it’s old people that need it. It could be there family members; it could be someone they loved so we definitely need to reach out and find good people,” said Billy Breland, donor.
This blood drive comes as blood supplies typically dwindle during the holidays.
