The Kemper County School District’s motto is together we can make a difference and that is something the new superintendent plans on doing.
“It’s just a potential of what this district can be. I know it seems to have some issues in some places but there are a lot of really good things that the state doesn’t know about that we’re going to highlight and we’re going to build on those deficiencies,” said Hilute Hudson, Kemper County Superintendent.
Parents with the school district say they are on board with the new administration.
“I love the idea that he’s bringing forth and the changes that he has already talked about. I’m so very excited to have the new superintendent we have on board now,” said Amanda, Williams
Amanda Williams says change can be a good thing.
“A fresh new start is always good. We get so complacent and just stuck in one way that a lot of people do not know about. There is good in changes as well. Fresh start brings a fresh idea and brings about a fresh move,” Williams said.
Hilute Hudson says under his administration he will put Kemper County on the map for doing positive things.
“I want to make Kemper County a district that people start to say hey they got some good things going on over there, let’s go see what they’re doing and how they’re doing it,” Hudson said.
