In participation of Southern Week of Caring, service officials with Mississippi Power have been investing 13-hundred hours into the community in part of being a Leader in Me company.
Officials with Mississippi Power visited students at West Hills Elementary and spoke with them about future occupation goals and making wise decisions.
Two habits were emphasized being proactive and beginning with an ending mind.
“They’re in control of their actions to be kind. We told them to be the I in kind and then for the second habit was to begin with a ending mind. They should have a goal in mind they’re in kindergarten first grade it begins now setting goals and making those good decisions,” said Mona Jackson.
Officials with the power company visited two schools in the Meridian Public-School District.
