It’s a normal operating day at this Dollar General store in Toomsuba, but Tuesday night around nine o clock it was all too frightening for store employees.

“Two employees at The Dollar General located on Highway 80 and 11 in Toomsuba indicated that they had been robbed. Deputies had arrived on the scene,” said Chief Deputy Ward Calhoun, Laurderdale County Sheriff's Department.

Police are still trying to gather details to search for clues

“What we know at this point in time is that four black males all dressed in jackets, hoodies with mask. The other two had their faces covered with cloths,"said Chief Deputy Ward Calhoun, Laurderdale County Sheriff's Department.

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department says it is always important to be on alert.

“We want everyone as they’re out wherever they go to be aware of their surroundings and if they approach a store and they think something is going on inside or they see something on the outside. If they have the appearance that this person is fixing to maybe commit a robbery that they dial 9-11 immediately," saids  Chief Deputy Ward Calhoun, Laurderdale County Sheriff's Department.
