Southeast Elementary School participates in STEM project

Southeast Elementary School received ten drones purchased through a Title Four grant to launch a stem project.

They were tasked to make a video about Southeast Elementary. So far two top four classes have been posted on social media.

The school is allowing for the community to cast their vote on which video they find most favorable.

“Maybe the community as a whole around Meridian and potentially all around the world that can actually vote on our videos, the poll will be open this afternoon until tomorrow morning and once the poll is completed, we’ll definitely share with the kids the students and classrooms who did the best and who won according to all the votes from the community” Said Ryan Powell, Southeast Elementary School principal.

The contestants in the final round are two from third grade, and two from fourth grade.

You can vote by using hash tag s-e-e underscore tigers and also by visiting The Lauderdale County School District on social media.
