Marvin's Hardware has fundraiser for veterans.

The Marvin’s Hardware Store in Meridian is also honoring veterans by hosting a fundraiser.

During this Memorial Day weekend, Marvin’s hardware hosted a bucket sale to benefit the Veterans Of Foreign Wars In Meridian, which is a veterans service organization.

Buckets sold for six dollars apiece. By this morning 200 buckets were sold.

“Community involvement is a big thing for us here at Marvin’s, we’re trying to give back as much as we can and honestly it’s no better place to start than with our veterans, so Memorial Day was a big kick for us and we’re going to try to keep it going on in the future.” Said John Dearman, store manager.

The sale will continue until tomorrow afternoon.
