Rush retires from Habitat for Humanity

After serving eight years as executive director, Fonda Rush is retiring from Lauderdale county Habitat for Humanity.

Rush began working for the organization as a volunteer back in 1989 when she was an employee in the city’s community development office.

Reflecting on her tenure with the organization, Rush says she’s most proud of helping residents become homeowners.
